PPS bids farewell to Class 12 students

Podar Pearl School bid a grand farewell to its first outgoing batch of Class XII. The seniors received a warm welcome from the class XI students. The programme was graced by the school President, Board of Directors, Principal, Headmaster, Coordinators, faculty and parents. The school President Mr. Sam Mathew enlightened the students with his inspirational speech. He commented that these precious pearls would definitely prove to be a great asset to the school. He also recalled and shared his experiences with the gathering. Principal Ms. Manjari Recriwal accentuated that Podar Pearl School has nurtured confident students who can face the challenges of the world victoriously. Mementos were presented to the outgoing students to felicitate them. The cultural programs showcased the multiple talents of class XI students. ‘Retrospection-A String of memories’ was presented, which portrayed the precious moments the students spent together in the campus. A yearbook designed by class XI students was also presented. The farewell cake was cut by the outgoing Head Boy Master Nihal Yasin and Head Girl Ms. Kalyani Reji. Class 12 students reminisced about their unforgettable and memorable experiences at the school.

Lighting the Candle Ceremony was also held as it is the tradition that the illuminating light representing the school’s values and principles, is to be passed on to its successors. The school flag was handed over to the next flagbearers as part of the Handing-over Ceremony. Vice Head Boy Master Emaad and Vice Head Girl Ms. Hanan Anwar welcomed the gathering whereas Ms. Kashish of Class XI proposed the vote of thanks. The principal praised and applauded the class XI students for their wholehearted efforts and meticulous planning to mark this event a grand success. It was indeed a great evening, filled with nostalgia and excitement.
