World Earth Day Assembly

On April 24, the students of Class 8 MA organized a special assembly in commemoration of World Earth Day. The assembly aimed to promote awareness about the importance of preserving our planet and encourage students to take action to protect the environment. The event was meticulously planned and executed by the students under the guidance of their class teacher, Mrs. Shabista Khan.

A welcome speech kicked off the assembly and gave everyone an enjoyable vibe. Based on the topic Planet vs. Plastic, the students watched the special segment Plastic pollution is a multifaceted threat, which demonstrated the effects of plastic pollution on the environment.

Towards the conclusion, the esteemed speaker Dr. Puja Mangal and the coordinator, Mrs. Hazeena Najeeb, gave a motivational keynote speech about environmental stewardship and the importance of safeguarding our world for the coming generations.

The assembly on World Earth Day was a huge success. It motivated the school community to take action for a healthier world and better future in addition to teaching them about the value of protecting the earth’s natural beauty. Everyone in attendance found the event to be both pleasant and educational thanks to the teachers and students’ collaborative efforts.
