World Labour Day ( Classes VI to VIII)

In commemoration of World Labour Day, the Grade 7 WC students of Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus organized a special assembly on 1 May, 2024 to express their gratitude and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of drivers and attendants within our school community. The assembly was a combination of skits, dances, presentations, and token gestures to honor these essential workers.

The assembly began with a heartfelt welcome from the student organizers, expressing the significance of World Labour Day and acknowledging the vital role of laborers in society. Following the introduction, a skit was performed by a group of students, depicting various scenarios where drivers and attendants went beyond their duties to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

This was followed by a lively dance performance by another group of students, choreographed to celebrate the spirit of labor and unity. The energetic performance resonated with the audience and set a vibrant tone for the rest of the assembly.

Next, students delivered presentations highlighting the importance of recognizing and valuing the contributions of laborers in different professions. They emphasized the need for fair treatment, safe working conditions, and appreciation for the often-overlooked work that keeps society functioning smoothly. As a token of appreciation, each driver and attendant was presented with a personalized gift.

Overall, the Grade 7 WC students’ assembly for World Labour Day was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on both the honored guests and the entire school community. It reinforced the values of empathy, respect, and gratitude, and inspired everyone present to continue recognizing and honoring the labor that sustains our society.
