Market Day Event

“Market Day” was conducted by Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus on Sunday, October 16th 2022. The concept of Market Day was induced with the intention of providing students with an original environment of the market where products and services are sold to customers in exchange for money. The concept of money is introduced in a friendly manner through this activity.

Class I and II students worked together as a team and created a miniature market. It’s a great way for students to learn entrepreneurship. As part of the learning, students were encouraged to think like entrepreneurs and come up with products to sell at a market day. Each class was given a starter pack of food.

The programme was inaugurated by our school management dignitaries, Mr. Nizar Sir, Asharaf Sir, and Ms. Mizna, accompanied by Principal Ms. Manjiri Recriwal, Head Mistress Ms. Simi Suresh Kumar, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Lali Neshi Kumar. The market day began at 9:00 am and the playground reformed into a bustling marketplace with stalls of food, art and crafts, mehendi designs, face painting and fun events.

 

A variety of fruits and vegetables were displayed in a rainbow of colours, which was the main highlight of the event. The main motto was to prepare our young people to be future innovators and entrepreneurs. The students got experience of handling the supermarket and shopping for groceries. It was once again proven that when students and teachers work together, they surely create masterpieces.
