ENGLISH POEM RECITATION COMPETITION (2022-23)
“Poetry is simply the most beautiful, impressive and widely effective mode of saying things.”
The English Poem Recitation Competition was organised for grade 1& 2 students in order to instil a love for poetry and to develop recitation skills in students from a young age.
The Inter-class Poem Recitation Competition was held on 19th June,2022 at the auditorium of our school. The Judges were Ms. Lali N.Kumar, co-ordinator of class 1 & 2 Westbay Campus and Ms. Jyothi Sujesh, co-ordinator of classes 3 to 5 Meshaf Campus.
The young participants performed wonderfully and enthusiastically.The participants were encouraged and applauded. The event ended with the inspiring words from the Judges to the young audience.
To instill love for poetry and develop recital skill of students English Poem Recitation was conducted for the students of Grade 3 to 5 on 23rd June,2022. The students presented the poem with proper rendition, voice modulation and appropriate pronounciation. The session started with introduction and each student recited the poem with great zeal. At the end judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the students.
