A Gavel Club session was held on 30th April 2025 at the West Bay Campus, Block A Hall, with enthusiastic participation from students. The session aimed to build students’ public speaking confidence and leadership abilities through structured speaking opportunities.

One of the highlights of the session was the Prepared Speech segment, where Abigail from Grade 8WB delivered an inspiring speech. This segment allowed students to speak on a selected topic with prior preparation, helping them organize their thoughts, express ideas clearly, and develop speech delivery skills.

Following the speech, Hima Haasini from Grade 8 WB took on the role of evaluator in the Evaluation segment. She offered constructive and motivating feedback, helping Abigail and other members; understand their strengths and areas for improvement. The evaluation segment plays a key role in building a supportive learning environment and guiding students toward confident communication.

The session was conducted by Ms. Salma, Gavel Club Coordinator, who guided the students through each segment and ensured a smooth and interactive experience.

Overall, the session was engaging and educational, with active student involvement and visible progress in public speaking skills. The Gavel Club continues to provide a valuable platform for young speakers to grow and shine.
