English Poem Recitation Competition

Poetry recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones. It is a stepping stone for the young students to develop their verbal skills and to boost their confidence.

Poetry recitation competition for classes 6,7,8 was held on 20th June, 2022. This competition was conducted to expand student’s experience and exposure to poetry. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. One of the criteria’s was the students should recite only the poems by William Wordsworth, Robert Frost & W.B.Yeats . It was heart-warming to see amazing performances which indeed was a result of hours of practice. Ms. Zemina (HOD, Dpt. of English and Ms. Puja Bindhu Dash (Academic Coordinator grade 1 & 2) marked their presence as the juries of the competition. 

Winners were selected from each grades of 6 to 8.
