Class 2 Assembly- September

Class 2WA held a class assembly with the theme “Community Helpers” to educate students on various types of community helpers and their contributions to society. The assembly began with the recitation of the school prayer, which was followed by the Qatar National Anthem and a motivational thought on the assembly theme. Class 2WB students held their class assembly on September 20th, 2022. The assembly’s theme was “The Power of Reading.” The assembly began with the recitation of the school prayer, which was followed by the Qatar National Anthem and a motivational thought on the assembly theme. The children expressed their love of reading by speaking in their native languages. A few students spoke passionately about the importance of reading. The students of Class 2WC conducted their class assembly on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022. There was active participation and placards were displayed. Each student was given different roles such as grandparents, parents, uncle, aunty, cousins and did their role with enthusiasm in presenting the theme ”Family”. The assembly began with the recitation of the school prayer, which was followed by the Qatar National Anthem and a motivational thought on the assembly theme. The purpose of the assembly was to emphasize the importance of family and the moral values learned in a family to respect and obey their elders, as well as the importance of maintaining relationships with all family members. The students of class 2 WD worked together as a team and presented a mélange of thoughts, ideas, and expressions in their class assembly presentation. It’s the platform that is provided to young minds, boosting their confidence towards public speaking and imbibing a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds. The assembly’s theme was “Eating Habits.” The assembly commenced with the morning prayer by Deekshitha, and then the word of the day was explained by Angelina. Josheena delivered the thought for the day, followed by the Qatar National Anthem by Manha and the Indian National Anthem. School Vision by Vishaa and School Mission by Breyon were conducted too. The anchor, Zahraa, played a vital role in the smooth flow of the program. The current news was also updated by Ashrith during the session. It was followed by a mesmerizing skit on healthy foods vs. junk foods. The assembly delivered a strong message that food also gives us a kind of satisfaction that is integral to our mental wellbeing. Eventually, an inspiring speech was presented by our coordinator, Lali ma’am, on the importance of good eating habits. The assembly came to its finale with the students delivering a vote of thanks to their mentors.
