9th Annual Day Celebrations 2022-2023

Podar Pearl School celebrated their 9th Annual Day on 12th November 2022, at Al Meshaf Campus.

The Chief Guest was Dr. Jabr Al-Noaimi, Chairman, Newton School. Ms. Fatima Sultan Al-Kuwari, Chief Human Resources Officer, Ooredoo Group, was the Guest of Honour. School Patron represented by Mr.Sheikh Jabor Hassan Al Thani also graced the occasion with his presence.

The celebration commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the welcome address by the President, Mr. Sam Mathew. Dr. Jabr Al-Noaimi gave an inspiring speech, highlighting how India has always been a symbol of unity in diversity. He highlighted that we should always imbibe the values of non-violence and peace set forth by the great Mahatma Gandhi. Ms. Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari spoke about how one must forge their career aspirations with their passion while choosing the path in life.

Class X CBSE high achievers were felicitated by the esteemed guests. Awards were presented to students for achievement in various inter-school and international competitions. The Annual Magazine Panorama 2022 was released by the Chief Guest in presence of members of the management. Charity Week- Qatar conferred Podar Pearl School with the “Hidden Gem Award” for being a top contributor to their campaign to support ‘Education Above All’.

The cultural events started with a video by the staff and students celebrating FIFA 2022 Qatar. The choir presented a song titled “This time for Qatar” and little Pearls danced to the FIFA Qatar Anthem Hayya Hayya. The senior students took the audience on a historical journey into the evolution of modern India through various dance dramas. It was a visual treat filled with vibrant folk dances, stories of empires and some amazing performances by the Pearls.
