Pearl School successfully conducted its Vision Screening Program 2026–2027 in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). The program focused on promoting students’ eye health. It also aimed to identify potential vision concerns at an early stage.
As part of the annual program, the school coordinated with Al Mahra Opticals. The screening was conducted for students in Grades 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Students from Grades 1 and 3 participated in the screening on 2 June 2026. On 3 June 2026, students from Grades 5 and 7 completed their vision assessments. The screening team carried out the process efficiently and systematically.
All eligible students underwent a visual acuity assessment. The screening helped identify students who may need further evaluation. As a result, students with potential vision concerns received a Vision Screening Referral Form to take home.
Regular vision screening plays an important role in supporting students’ health and well-being. Good vision can also support students in reading, writing, and participating in classroom activities. Therefore, early screening can contribute to a positive learning experience.
The successful implementation of the Vision Screening Program 2026–2027 reflects Pearl School’s commitment to student health. It also highlights the school’s focus on early detection and timely intervention.
