Event 1    : Inaugural Ceremony – SCIEZONE 2024

The Science Exhibition held on 1st February 2024, commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by the presence of distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Ravi Kumar and other distinguished guests Ms. Manjari Recriwal, School Principal, Ms. Zemina. S, School Headmistress, Ms. Misna, Member of Board. The Exhibition was conducted by Department of Science for featuring both Science Exhibition and Science Thematic Fashion Show Contest. The event aimed to promote scientific knowledge and creativity while showcasing the intersection of science and art. 

Science Exhibition: 

The Science Exhibition highlighted various scientific projects, experiments and innovations. Participants from Grade III – VIII presented their works, covering a wide range of scientific disciplines including physics, chemistry, biology, engineering and environmental science. Parents had the opportunity to interact with the exhibitors, learn about their research and demonstrations of scientific principles in action. The exhibition fostered curiosity, learning and collaboration among attendees of all ages. 

Event 2    : Felicitation & Science Thematic Fashion Show Contest(Class III – VIII)

Venue       : Pearl School, Al Dafna, Qatar (Block D) 

The organizers and attendees, setting a congenial atmosphere for the ceremony, welcomed the Chief Guest. The felicitation by the Chief Guest added significance and solemnity to the event, setting a tone of inspiration and encouragement for all participants and attendees. The Chief Guest took the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the participants and handed over a prize of appreciation to SIFQ finalists. A rob dance was also presented by the students of grade VIII, where scientific literacy, sparking interest in STEAM fields and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.  

In a unique twist, the event also featured a Science Thematic Fashion Show Contest where participants creatively integrated scientific concepts and themes into their clothing designs. Contestants walked on the ramp wearing outfits inspired by elements from the natural world, astronomical phenomena, futuristic technology, and more. The fusion of science and fashion captivated the audience and provided a visually stunning representation of scientific ideas translated into wearable art. The fashion show contest highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of science and its potential to inspire creativity beyond traditional academic boundaries.
