OBJECTIVE :
· To provide comprehensive information about breast cancer.
· To educate teachers on the importance of early detection and self-examinations.

On 09.10.2024, a workshop on breast cancer awareness was held for teachers and support staff at Pearl School, aimed at educating them about the importance of early detection and prevention. The session was taken by School Nurse Ms. Devika. The session included informative presentations on breast cancer facts, incidence, risk factors, self-examination techniques, discussion on lifestyle choices and preventive measures, screening test for early detection of breast cancer was explained with visual aids.

The workshop successfully raised awareness about breast cancer among teachers and support staff empowering them with knowledge and resources to promote health in their communities.
