As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering joyful, engaging, and stress-free learning experiences, Pearl School observed “Unpack the Fun: Bagless Day” on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, for students of Grades 1 to 8.

Held on the last working day before the summer break, the event provided a refreshing break from routine and focused on creativity, self-expression, and collaboration. Without the weight of school bags, students participated in a variety of hands-on, fun-filled activities designed to inspire curiosity, teamwork, and joy in learning.

Grades 1 & 2:

The little ones had a wonderful time participating in creative activities like Mask Mania, where they made fun character masks using paper plates, and Crafty Cards, exchanging handmade greeting cards with their peers. In Show & Shine, they brought their favourite items from home and shared about them confidently. They also enjoyed Squishy Sculptures, crafting playful shapes using colourful playdough.

Grades 3 to 8:

Older students explored their creativity through Card Making & Exchange, creating and sharing vibrant cards. Grades 3 and 4 enjoyed Tell a Story & Get a Candy, confidently narrating stories and receiving treats. Meanwhile, Grades 5 to 8 took part in the DEAR Activity – Drop Everything And Read, immersing themselves in books in a calm and cozy setting.

The Bagless Day initiative not only brought smiles to faces but also reinforced the idea that meaningful learning can happen beyond textbooks—through interaction, imagination, and shared experiences.

Wishing all our students and families a safe and happy summer vacation!
