Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September, commemorating the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India and a distinguished philosopher and teacher. It is a day to express gratitude, acknowledge the dedication of educators, and celebrate the power of knowledge. Pearl school, Al Dafna celebrated teachers’ day with great enthusiasm.  

Teacher’s Day celebrations began with a symbolic key handover ceremony to represent the transfer of responsibilities to the students. By incorporating the key handover ceremony into the celebration, a meaningful and memorable experience reinforced the idea of responsibility and respect between teachers and students. 

Learners of Grade VI organized a special assembly expressing their gratitude to teachers through various activities like dance, skit and musical performance. Grade VIII also organized cultural programs, and felicitation ceremony where students presented personalized photo frames and gifts for their teachers.  

The event culminated with cake cutting ceremony. The Vice principal and Headmistress ma’am expressed their gratitude, acknowledged the dedication of educators, and celebrated the power of knowledge.
