“A NATION’S CULTURE RESIDES IN THE HEARTS AND IN THE SOUL OF ITS PEOPLE.”

Out of all the regular activities at school, morning assembly is undoubtedly the most important. It promotes community involvement and helps children develop their skills. It is likely the first stage that is given to young minds to enhance their self-assurance and fostering in their developing minds a sense of teamwork.

On 25 January 2023, Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus celebrated the 74th Republic Day with honour and respect. The students took great satisfaction in praising and honouring the spirit of unity. It was a tribute to the dignitaries Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mr. Gopala Swamy Iyengar, and Mr. Alladi Krishna Swamy, who were members of the Indian Constituent Assembly, which was in charge of drafting the Constitution.

The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer, which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. This assembly emphasized the relevance and importance of observing the day as ‘Republic Day’. Students’ singing of a patriotic song, speeches about independence warriors, and dances with Republic Day theme are the main draws of Republic Day celebrations. The choir group sang the patriotic song “Sare Jahan Se Accha”, which was followed by a group dance and a patriotic solo dance. The programme was concluded with the National anthem.
