Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus successfully conducted an awareness programme on “The Role and Competency of Juvenile Police in Qatar” . The school organised this juvenile laws session for students of Grades 6 to 8. The session aimed to create awareness about juvenile laws, rights, responsibilities, and social behaviour in Qatar.

Officers from the Juvenile Police Department, Ministry of Interior (MOI), Qatar, conducted the juvenile laws session. Mr. Tamim Kanaa, Awareness Officer, led the session. Meanwhile, Mr. Omar Hudawi translated the discussion to ensure clear understanding among all students.

The programme began with a prayer recited by Farzin Fahim of Grade 6. After that, Ms. Fathima Saifudeen delivered a warm welcome address to the gathering.

During the session, the officers explained the State Juvenile Laws of Qatar in a clear and simple manner. They discussed the role of juvenile police and the legal rights and duties of minors. In addition, they stressed the importance of responsible behaviour. Real-life examples and interactive discussions kept the juvenile laws session engaging for the students.

As a result, students gained a better understanding of law, discipline, and social responsibility. Moreover, the session highlighted the importance of juvenile protection laws in building a safe and respectful society.

Overall, students responded positively to the juvenile laws session. The programme proved highly beneficial in improving their awareness of juvenile laws and the role of law enforcement in Qatar.
