  • Grade 1: Students crafted “My Qatar” Heart Crafts, illustrating Qatar’s skyline, palm trees, and desert landscapes.
  • Grade 2: Learners designed Qatar National Symbols Wheels, featuring symbols like the Oryx, Falcon, Dates, Dhows, and the Sidra Tree.
  • Grades 3 & 4: Students contributed to the “Qatar Through Our Eyes” Art Display, sharing drawings, collages, and reflections on themed boards.

These activities helped younger learners build pride in Qatar while enhancing their creativity. In addition, students learned to express themselves and appreciate the richness of their national heritage.

🗺️ Deeper Learning for Grades 5–8

Older students, from Grades 5 to 8, explored Qatar’s history and development in greater detail.

  • Grades 5 & 6: Created “Qatar: Land, Sea & Heritage Maps”, highlighting desert regions, coastlines, cities, and cultural landmarks.
  • Grades 7 & 8: Led a workshop titled “Transformation of Qatar – From Past to Present”, presenting Qatar’s journey from traditional roots to a modern global identity while preserving cultural values.

These activities strengthened research skills, confidence, and leadership abilities. Furthermore, students developed teamwork and critical thinking as they presented their projects to peers and teachers.
