Description of the event: A flyer announcing the clay moulding activity was shared with parents two weeks in advance. The theme for the event was “Rain Creatures or Rain Wear.” Children were encouraged to bring their own clay and moulding tools to ensure comfort and creative freedom. Children were given 30–40 minutes to complete their clay models. They enthusiastically moulded various rain-related items such as: Rain creatures: Snails, earthworms, snakes, frogs; Rainwear and scenes: Umbrellas, raincoats, rainbows.
Children displayed high levels of excitement and eagerness. They exercised creativity and independence throughout the activity. Students were proud to showcase their creations to peers and teachers.
The clay moulding activity was a resounding success. It provided a wonderful blend of learning and creativity, helping children develop fine motor skills, patience, and artistic expression—all while having fun.
