Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus, hosted a Harvest Festival Assembly with great enthusiasm, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and traditions associated with this important festival. The event created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, allowing students to explore and appreciate the cultural values linked to the harvest season.

The Harvest Festival Assembly began with a soulful Arabic prayer by Zayd (6WB), setting a serene and respectful tone for the programme. Harshitha and Taniqsha (8WB) confidently and gracefully compered the assembly, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow throughout. Agastiya and Aarush presented the School Vision, Mission, and Core Values, emphasising the importance of community and learning. Rutvik shared the Thought for the Day, while Philida introduced the Word of the Day, encouraging students to reflect and grow.

A colourful dance performance by Tamil students from Grades 1 to 8 added energy and festive spirit to the celebration. Ahmed Farhan (3WC) delivered an informative speech on the significance of the harvest festival, helping students understand its cultural roots. Sharwin (2WB) sang a melodious Bharathiyar song, enriching the assembly with traditional music and further enhancing the cultural experience.

The Harvest Festival Assembly at Pearl School was more than a celebration – it was a meaningful tribute to South India’s agrarian traditions. Students not only enjoyed the performances but also gained a deeper appreciation of cultural heritage and the values associated with the harvest season. This vibrant celebration reflects Pearl School’s commitment to nurturing awareness, respect, and pride in cultural traditions while providing students with an engaging and educational experience.
