The Language Day Celebration at Podar Pearl School, held on 23rd April 2025, was an engaging and creative event aimed at fostering an appreciation for literature and language among students of Grades III, IV, and V. The primary focus was to introduce students to the legacy of William Shakespeare and celebrate the beauty of the English language. Students participated in a Shakespearean parade, dressing up as iconic characters like Hamlet, Macbeth, and Juliet, and took part in a wordsearch activity to enhance their vocabulary. The celebration also featured a video titled Discovering Shakespeare to provide deeper insights into his works. The event encouraged creativity, enhanced communication skills, and promoted an understanding of global literary heritage, aligning with the Round Square Ideals of Internationalism and Creativity. The celebration not only engaged students but also reinforced values of respect, cultural diversity, and artistic expression, resonating with Qatar’s emphasis on education and multiculturalism.
