The Earth Day Activity by Grade 3-5, themed “Our Power, Our Planet,” at Podar Pearl School, Al Meshaf Campus, reflected the values of sustainability and environmental responsibility. It also aligned with Qatar’s vision of building an environmentally conscious community. During this Earth Day Activity, students actively contributed to a Green Habit Chart and performed a peer-led skit. This made the learning experience engaging and meaningful.
Moreover, the activity encouraged students to collaborate and reflect on their actions. They also learned to adopt simple eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. As a result, students developed a stronger sense of responsibility towards the environment. The initiative also reflected the Round Square ideal of Environmentalism. It promoted respect for nature and a commitment to sustainable living.
Furthermore, this Earth Day Activity supported the Podar Pearl School’s vision and mission. It helped nurture responsible and proactive learners. These students are now better prepared to contribute positively to society. They can also take meaningful steps towards a sustainable future.
