Students from Grades 9 to 11 participated, including:
Syeda Manha Masood (Grade 9), Aditi Pillai, Nritha Neshi Kumar, Daanya Vayilparambath, Anoopa Thirumalai Kumar (Grade 10), and Ishani Menon, Syeda Sara Zaki, Sanjana Nalluri, and Syed Hammad Adnan (Grade 11).

The DCMUN team, supported by Ms. Zeenat Khan, MUN Director at Podar Pearl School, ensured smooth guidance throughout the conference.

Activity Description

The Doha College Model United Nations was held under the theme “Peace Without Borders: Resilience in an Uncertain Era.” Delegates showcased confidence, diplomacy, and global awareness across committees such as WHO, UNHRC, UNESCO, GA2, GA3, GA4, and SC. Since DCMUN is deeply rooted in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it offered students an impactful learning experience supported by trained student administrators and executive members linked to THIMUN Qatar.

The opening ceremony at Doha College, led by Principal Mr. David Tongue and MUN Director Mr. Jonathan Henley, highlighted the power of MUN in building leadership and critical-thinking skills. Throughout the second day, delegates actively participated in moderated and unmoderated causes, bringing energy and insight to every discussion. Meanwhile, the press team captured memorable moments that reflected enthusiasm and teamwork.

Moreover, the closing ceremony featured an awards segment and the screening of a post-conference video, which received loud applause from the audience. During the event, Teacher-in-Charge Ms. Zeenat Khan was recognized for her valuable contributions and was a part of the ‘ approval panel’.

Group Collaboration

More than 400 delegates from leading schools across Qatar came together to exchange ideas, collaborate, and debate. Under the guidance of the experienced executive committee, students embraced diverse perspectives, strengthened their communication skills, and contributed meaningfully to discussions based on global issues.
