Learning Through Activities
To make the Courage & Bravery Assembly meaningful, teachers planned many interactive activities. Each activity showed students how courage works in real life.
First, students gave short speeches about community helpers. They dressed up as doctors, police officers, firefighters, and soldiers. Then, they explained how these heroes serve the community. This activity improved speaking skills and built respect for helpers.
Next, students of Class 1MC presented a graceful dance. The song “I am brave, I am strong, I don’t get scared” carried a strong message of confidence. Through the performance, students shared courage in a fun and creative way.
After that, teachers conducted a quiz for Grade 1 students. Everyone joined with excitement. During the quiz, students learned about Qatar’s leader, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. His brave leadership and role in hosting the FIFA World Cup inspired the children greatly.
Through the Courage & Bravery Assembly, students also learned respect, cooperation, and kindness. Moreover, the program highlighted Qatari values such as unity, helping others, and caring for the community. By learning about brave leaders and positive actions, children understood how teamwork makes society stronger.
Overall, the Courage & Bravery Assembly was inspiring and enjoyable. It helped students discover courage in simple actions. Most importantly, it reminded them that true bravery starts with making the right choices every day.
