Pearl School, Al Thumama conducted Red Cross Day Assembly with the aim of spreading awareness about the values and humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross Society. It served as a platform to educate students about the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality—the seven fundamental principles that guide the Red Cross movement.
The Red Cross Day Assembly began with a special introduction, setting the tone for the event by highlighting the core values of humanity and service. This was followed by a meaningful thought that emphasized the importance of caring not only for one another but also for our planet — a reminder that compassion extends beyond people to the environment we share. Student from Class 3C took the stage to deliver an informative speech about Red Cross Day, shedding light on its history, purpose, and the critical role the Red Cross plays in providing aid during times of crisis. Adding a creative touch to the celebration, students from Grades 3C and 3D performed a skit that beautifully illustrated the principles of empathy, teamwork, and humanitarian service — all central to the Red Cross mission.
To conclude, students presented the core values of Red Cross Day, reinforcing the themes of kindness, unity, and a shared responsibility to support those in need. The event was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.
