Class I-III:  World Food Day Celebrations (Thumama Campus 2024-25)

On October 16th 2024, Pearl School Al Thumama Campus celebrated World Food Day to raise awareness about hunger, food security, and sustainability. Our school organised different events and activities like Slogan writing competition, Quiz competition, preparation of healthy food, and presentation on food security, sustainable agriculture, know our farmer.

The main highlight of the celebration was Charity Food Stall. The food stall allowed students, teachers and parents to participate in preparing and selling food, all the proceeds from food stall will be going to a local charity. Thus the students understand the value of giving back to the community and helping those in need, fostering a sense of empathy and social responsibility among them.

The event encouraged the students to keep the spirit of World Food Day by practicing sustainable habits, reducing waste, and helping those in need and a future where everyone has enough food to eat.
