Pearl School Al Thumama conducted a special assembly on ‘The International Day of Education’ on 21st January 2025, led by the students of Class 2 A and 2B. The International Day of Education -2025 focuses on the role of education in adapting to advancements in Artificial Intelligence, emphasizing the need to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to navigate a world increasingly shaped by automation. The assembly highlighted how education empowers individuals to preserve human creativity, ethics, and decision-making in the age of AI. The assembly began with an inspiring speech by the students, introducing the significance of the day and this year’s theme. The assembly started with a prayer and was then followed by the school vision, mission, and thought for the day. The program showcased various inspiring elements, beginning with a compelling speech highlighting the significance of World Education Day.

The highlight of the celebration was the unique “Walk of Inspiration,” where students portrayed remarkable personalities who have shaped our world not only through education but also through their pivotal roles in advancing technology, leaving a legacy that drives today’s advancements in fields like artificial intelligence and beyond.

The celebration continued with an energetic dance performance that added cultural vibrancy to the proceedings. At the end our incharge Ms. Indira Menon addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role of education in shaping future leaders and responsible citizens. The event concluded with a solemn oath-taking ceremony, where students pledged their commitment to lifelong learning and education.
