The students of class 2WC presented the assembly on November 7, 2023, with “Importance of Reading” as the theme. The assembly commenced by reciting the school prayer, followed by the school vision and mission, the word of the day, and a thought on the theme “Importance of Reading. Mrs. Lali Neshi Kumar, the coordinator, addressed the assembly and spoke on the importance of reading a book in a student’s life. The assembly concluded with the Qatar National Anthem, followed by the Indian National Anthem.

The students of class 2WD presented their morning assembly on the theme “School Rules’’ with great spirit and enthusiasm. The assembly commenced with the prayer by Anakha, which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls, and then the word of the day was explained by Tushit. Shaurya delivered the thought for the day, followed by the Qatar national anthem by Baraa and the Indian national anthem by Jai Ragav. School vision by Nayanika and school mission by Atika were conducted too. The anchors, Jazlaan and Nishika, played a vital role in the smooth flow of the program. The current news was also updated by Ivan during the session. It was followed by a mesmerising “do and don’t” activity on school rules. The energy of the performance was contagious, which left the audience in awe of them. The assembly delivered a strong message that rules help students understand what is appropriate and what is not. Eventually, an inspiring speech was presented by our coordinator, Lali ma’am, to keep school rules.

 

The students of Grade 2WE conducted the morning assembly on 06/11/23 at Pearl School, West Bay Campus. The assembly began with the Morning Prayer, followed by the thought of the day. The theme of the assembly was ‘World Energy Conservation Day’, in which students highlighted the importance of energy resources, how to raise awareness, and how to save energy in the future. The students depicted their creative work through models, charts, flash mobs, etc. To encourage our young learners, our coordinator, Ms. Shweta, addressed the gathering. The assembly ended with the recitation of the Qatar National Anthem, followed by the Indian National Anthem
