As a part of Earth Day, our school celebrated an engaging series of eco-themed competitions on April 24, 2025, with the objective of raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability among students. These activities aimed to instill eco-friendly values through creativity and participation.
The event featured the following competitions, tailored to each grade level:
Grade 1 & 2 – Inter-class Colouring Competition: Students participated in a colouring activity focused on nature and the Earth. Their vibrant artwork reflected both enthusiasm and a budding understanding of environmental care.
Grade 3 & 4 – Inter-class Drawing Competition
Theme: “Save Earth”
Children expressed their thoughts visually, highlighting issues like pollution, deforestation, and conservation. Their drawings displayed a strong connection between art and environmental advocacy.
Grade 5 to 8 – Inter-class Poster Making Competition
Theme: “Our Earth, Our Responsibility”
Older students created compelling posters, blending creativity with messages about climate action, sustainability, and the importance of collective responsibility for protecting the planet.
