On February 10, 2025, the Grade 1 and 2 students of Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus, organized a Market Day fundraiser to support charitable causes. The event served as an excellent platform to nurture entrepreneurial skills, foster teamwork, and instill a strong sense of community spirit among the young learners.
Grade 1 students enthusiastically showcased and sold fresh fruits and vegetables, while Grade 2 students managed lively snack stalls. Teachers actively participated by setting up additional stalls and guiding the students through the process of selling their products. The event featured a diverse array of stalls, including crafts, food, games, face painting, and mehndi, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere.
Parents played a vital role by attending the event, purchasing items, and wholeheartedly supporting the budding entrepreneurs. The resounding success of Market Day has inspired both students and teachers to plan similar initiatives in the future, promoting experiential learning and strengthening community involvement.
