‘Health is much more dependent on your habit and nutrition than on medicine’
In order to develop healthy hygiene practices and to make the students aware of the importance of healthy habits and healthy eating grade 1, 2 and 3 celebrated Health and Hygiene weeks from 13th May to 19th May.
An array of creative activities were organised with a view to sensitise the children about health and hygiene and motivate the students to practise it in their daily life.
The school nurse visited each class and explained the students about the preliminary measures to be taken to protect their health from common illness and maintain a proper hygiene in their life. She demonstrated the importance of washing hands step by step and explained the impact of not doing it in right way. The teachers too explained about the importance of keeping their environment clean and how to maintain a good lifestyle.
The week was planned to educate the students regarding personal hygiene, food hygiene and environmental hygiene. A Presentation was shown to the students regarding the primary hygiene to take care in life.
Health and hygiene Ambassadors were selected from grade 1, 2, 3 and explained about the necessity of health and hygiene practises by giving valuable presentation to all classes.
It was a great week which enlighten each student to practise and maintain health and hygiene in their daily life.
