Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus, proudly celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and active student participation. The celebration focused on raising awareness about protecting our planet. It also encouraged students to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.
To mark Earth Day, the Pearl school organized a variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities for students from Grades 1 to 8. These activities encouraged creativity and built awareness about environmental conservation. Students learned through hands-on tasks, teamwork, and reflection. As a result, they understood the importance of saving natural resources and reducing waste. They also explored eco-friendly habits aligned with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.”
Students from Grades 1 and 2 enjoyed coloring and word search activities. These fun tasks introduced them to nature and environmental care in a simple way. Meanwhile, students in Grades 3 and 4 created a “My Earth Promise Tree.” They shared their commitment to protecting the environment through drawings and short messages.
Students from Grades 5 and 6 participated in the “Make the Earth Colorful” craft activity. They designed creative Earth collages and added meaningful slogans about environmental protection. At the same time, students from Grades 7 and 8 took part in a student-led Earth Day awareness quiz. This activity improved their understanding of environmental issues. It also encouraged teamwork and discussion.
In addition, the school screened an awareness video in all classes. The video explained the importance of environmental conservation. It also inspired students to take small but meaningful steps to protect the Earth.
Overall, the Earth Day celebration saw enthusiastic participation from students across all grades. More importantly, it helped them develop a strong sense of responsibility. They now better understand how to protect natural resources and care for the planet.
