The students of Grade 1WD conducted an insightful morning Assembly at Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus. The theme, “Wonders of Science,” encouraged curiosity, creativity, and learning. The assembly began with the morning prayer. This created a calm and positive start to the day.
Next, students shared the thought for the day, the word of the day, and a short speech. Through these segments, they explained how science helps us understand the world around us. Moreover, they highlighted how scientific discoveries improve daily life and inspire innovation.
The most engaging part of the Wonders of Science Assembly was the thematic performance. Students portrayed characters such as the Rocket, Sun, Plants, and Light. Through simple dialogue and expressive actions, they clearly showed the connection between sunlight and nature’s growth. As a result, the audience understood scientific concepts in an enjoyable way.
In addition, the students presented a lively group song titled “Wonders of Science.” The song celebrated important inventions and discoveries that make life easier and more comfortable. Furthermore, their confident performance added energy and excitement to the event.
To motivate the young learners, Headmistress Zemina Zulfikkar addressed the gathering. She appreciated the students’ confidence and praised their scientific curiosity. She also encouraged them to continue exploring, questioning, and learning.
Finally, the Wonders of Science Assembly concluded on a proud note. Students sang the national anthems of Qatar and India. The assembly left everyone inspired and reminded the audience about the importance of science in everyday life.
