Swachhta Shapath by Teachers

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activities, the teachers of our school collectively took the Swachhta Shapath (Cleanliness Pledge). The pledge was administered in the A-Block, where all the teachers assembled with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility.

Through this pledge, the teachers reaffirmed their commitment to maintain cleanliness in the school, their surroundings, and the larger community. They also resolved to inspire students and others to actively participate in keeping the environment clean and green.

The event served as a reminder of Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of cleanliness, discipline, and responsibility towards the nation. By taking the Swachhta Shapath, the teachers set an example for the students, emphasizing that change begins with each individual’s efforts.

This initiative reflected the school’s dedication to nurturing responsible citizens who uphold Gandhiji’s values of truth, peace, and cleanliness.

Awareness Rally (Prabhat Pheri) by Grades 5 – 8

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan celebrations, the students of Grades 5 to 8 enthusiastically participated in an Awareness Rally (Prabhat Pheri). The students marched in unison, holding placards and chanting slogans that reflected Gandhiji’s ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, and cleanliness.

The rally aimed to create awareness about the importance of hygiene, discipline, and responsible citizenship in the community. Through their slogans and messages, the students encouraged everyone to maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and uphold Gandhiji’s timeless values in daily life.

The event instilled confidence, unity, and pride among the students while leaving a strong impact on all who witnessed it. It was a meaningful way to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation and to inspire society to walk the path of truth, responsibility, and cleanliness.

Human Chain Event by Teachers and Students of Grades 3 – 5

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan celebrations, the teachers and students of Grades 3 to 8 came together to form a Human Chain in the school premises. The event aimed to spread the message of unity, cleanliness, and collective responsibility, reflecting the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi’s vision.

With placards and slogans promoting peace, non-violence, and cleanliness, the participants stood hand in hand, symbolizing their shared commitment to building a cleaner and value-driven society. The active involvement of both teachers and students highlighted the importance of working together to bring about positive change.

The Human Chain not only created a powerful visual impact but also inspired everyone present to take personal responsibility for cleanliness and to live by Gandhiji’s ideals. It was a meaningful demonstration of unity, discipline, and the strength of collective effort.

Plantation of Saplings by Grade 3 & 4

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the students of Grade 3 and 4 enthusiastically participated in a Sapling Plantation Activity. The initiative was organized to instill in young learners a sense of responsibility towards the environment and to spread awareness about the importance of greenery.

With the guidance of their teachers, the students planted saplings in the school premises, pledging to nurture them with care. The activity helped children understand that planting trees not only beautifies the surroundings but also contributes to a cleaner and healthier planet.

The joy and excitement of the students while planting reflected their eagerness to contribute to nature. This meaningful initiative served as a reminder of Gandhiji’s belief in living in harmony with nature and left a lasting impression on the young minds.

Slogan Writing by Teachers

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, a Slogan Writing Activity was organized for the teachers of our school. The activity aimed to highlight the values of Mahatma Gandhi and spread awareness about peace, truth, and cleanliness.

Teachers enthusiastically participated by writing inspiring slogans on A4 sheets, reflecting Gandhiji’s principles of non-violence, simplicity, and social responsibility. Their creativity and thoughtful expressions showcased the importance of Gandhiji’s timeless values in today’s world.

The activity not only encouraged teachers to reflect on Gandhiji’s life and ideals but also served as a source of inspiration for the students, as the slogans were displayed prominently to motivate everyone.

The event concluded with appreciation for the teachers’ active involvement and their valuable contribution in reinforcing the spirit of Gandhi Jayanthi.

Selfie Point – Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, a special “Selfie Point” was arranged exclusively for teachers to capture joyful moments of the day. The corner was beautifully decorated with portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, inspiring quotes, and symbolic elements that reflected his ideals of truth, non-violence, and simplicity.

Teachers enthusiastically participated by taking pictures together, celebrating the occasion in a light-hearted yet meaningful way. The Selfie Point not only added to the festive spirit but also provided a wonderful opportunity for teachers to create lasting memories while honoring the values of Gandhiji.

The initiative proved to be a delightful highlight of the day, blending together reflection, joy, and togetherness among the teaching fraternity.

Role Play Brings Gandhiji’s Values to Life


As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, students actively participated in a role play highlighting the life and values of Mahatma Gandhi. The performance effectively portrayed Gandhiji’s principles of truth, non-violence, and simplicity, while also reflecting his contributions to the freedom struggle. The activity served as an educational experience, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of Gandhiji’s ideals and their relevance in today’s world.

Poster making Activity

As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, students from Grades 1 to 6 took part in a series of meaningful activities that reflected Gandhiji’s timeless values and ideals.

Promise Tree Activity – Grades 1 & 2

The young learners of Grades 1 and 2 enthusiastically participated in the Promise Tree Activity. Each child wrote or drew their promise on colorful leaves and placed them on the “Promise Tree,” symbolizing their commitment to follow good habits inspired by Gandhiji’s values of truth, peace, and cleanliness. The Promise Tree soon blossomed into a vibrant display of positivity, reminding everyone that even the smallest promise, when fulfilled, can create a big impact.

                                                Path of Promises – Classes 3 & 4

Students of Classes 3 and 4 contributed to the Path of Promises Activity. Each child wrote their pledge on a footprint, which was arranged along a pathway to form the symbolic “Path of Promises.” Walking through this path reflected their collective commitment to truth, non-violence, discipline, and cleanliness. The activity served as a powerful visual representation of their dedication to building a peaceful and value-driven society.

 

Poster Making – Grades 5 & 6

Students of Grades 5 and 6 expressed their creativity and awareness through a Poster Making Activity. Inspired by Gandhiji’s principles and messages, they designed thought-provoking posters highlighting the importance of truth, non-violence, cleanliness, and harmony. The colorful and meaningful posters not only showcased their artistic skills but also spread powerful messages that echoed Gandhiji’s vision for a better world.

Together, these activities helped students reflect on Gandhiji’s teachings and imbibe values that can guide them in their daily lives. The enthusiasm, sincerity, and creativity displayed by the children made the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations truly inspiring and memorable.
