Introduction: To celebrate the invaluable role of fathers in a child’s life, Podar Pearl School organized a special Father’s Day activity for Grades 1 and 2. This celebration was a joyful opportunity for students to express love, gratitude, and admiration for their fathers through creative, handmade greeting cards. The activity aimed to strengthen emotional bonds while promoting artistic expression and value-based learning.

Highlights of the Event

  • Grade 1 Activity: Students created vibrant popsicle-shaped greeting cards with the cheerful message, “You are the coolest Dad!”. They used colorful craft paper, markers, and decorations to add their own personal flair.
  • Grade 2 Activity: Students made impressive Spider-Man shaped cards with the empowering message, “You are my Superhero!”. These cards reflected their admiration for the strength, support, and love they receive from their fathers.

The classrooms were filled with excitement and creativity as students enthusiastically shared stories about their dads while working on their crafts.

 Learning Outcomes: Expressing appreciation and affection helped enhance empathy and emotional intelligence. Students practiced writing thoughtful messages to their fathers, improving their sentence construction and vocabulary. Cutting, coloring, and designing cards nurtured their fine motor skills and creativity. The activity reinforced respect, gratitude, and the importance of family relationships.
