Introduction and the primary goal of the activity: Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” is one of the two most important religious festival celebrated by people worldwide.
An assembly held to celebrate Eid al-Adha, emphasizing the values of sacrifice, faith, and community. The primary goal was to engage participants in understanding the significance of Eid al-Adha and fostering a sense of unity and shared celebration.
- Assembly Gathering: Students lined up in an organized manner (by class, house, or grade level) and teachers oversaw order and discipline.
- Welcome/Introduction by the comperes: The assembly was skillfully compered by the students of class 2MJ.
- Quran Recitation: The students recited the Quran (Surah Al Fatiha) with excellent precision and heartfelt devotion.
- National Anthem and Pledge: The students’ soulful rendition of the national anthem set a patriotic tone for the day. Students and teachers sang the Qatar National Anthem followed by the Indian National Anthem with pride and unity. A sense of pride filled the atmosphere as students earnestly recited the Indian Pledge.
- School Prayer: The students recited the school prayer with great clarity and deep reverence.
- School’s Vision and Mission: The assembly included the reading of the school’s vision and mission statements, emphasizing the commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and ethical values.
