As part of the Mother’s Day celebration, a special workshop was organized for Grade 7 students. The session was led by guest speaker Ms. Kezia Susan George, former lecturer at MGAJAS College, Ernakulam, and former English teacher at Podar Pearl School.

The workshop was titled “Unspoken Words: Celebrating Moms with Heart” and centered around the unique and emotional bond between mothers and their children. Ms. Kezia conducted the session in an engaging and interactive manner, encouraging students to reflect deeply on their relationship with their mothers.

A major highlight of the workshop was the “Switch the Shoe” activity, where students were divided into six groups and asked to put themselves in their mother’s shoes. This activity sparked meaningful discussions and helped students to empathize with their mothers’ perspectives and daily experiences.

The session provided students with a valuable opportunity to understand and appreciate the often unspoken sacrifices and love of a mother. It allowed them to relate these insights to their real-life experiences, making the session both touching and thought-provoking.

Overall, the workshop was impactful and helped students develop a deeper appreciation for the role of mothers in their lives.
