Kindergarten at Podar Pearl School celebrated Health Awareness Week with a range of engaging and educational activities focused on promoting healthy habits among young learners.
Day 1: Physical Awareness – Students learned about the importance of exercise and healthy eating. The day included a yoga session and a themed morning assembly.
Day 2: Personal Hygiene – Children were taught proper handwashing techniques and discussed daily hygiene routines like brushing and bathing.
Day 3: Happy Hydration – The significance of drinking water and natural juices was emphasized. KG2 students participated in a fun lemonade-making activity.
Day 4: “My Eyes Need Rest” – A parent collaboration session was held, featuring a food technologist who shared healthy living tips. Parents were encouraged to limit screen time and spend quality time with children.
Day 5: Crunch and Munch – Salad Day – Students brought fruits and vegetables, helped teachers prepare a fresh salad, and enjoyed it with their peers. The week was both educational and enjoyable, effectively instilling lifelong health and wellness habits in students.
