Introduction and the primary goal of the activity: The assembly focused on the theme of Self-Confidence. The goal was to inspire students to embrace their inner strength and believe in their abilities, fostering a positive mindset that will encourage them to face challenges with resilience and determination. 

  1. Assembly Gathering: Students lined up in an organized manner and teachers oversaw order and discipline.
  2. Welcome/Introduction by the comperes:  The assembly was skillfully compered by the students of class 2ME who welcomed the audience and introduced the various segments planned for the event.
  3. Quran Recitation: The students recited the Quran with excellent precision and heartfelt devotion.
  4. National Anthem and Pledge: The students’ soulful rendition of the national anthem set a patriotic tone for the day. Students and teachers sang the Qatar National Anthem followed by the Indian National Anthem with pride and unity. A sense of pride filled the atmosphere as students earnestly recited the Indian Pledge.

  Thought: “Confidence comes from not from always being right but  from not fearing to be wrong”. This powerful quote by Theodore Roosevelt was shared to remind students of the importance of self-belief in overcoming obstacles. The quote was discussed, emphasizing how confidence in oneself can pave the way for success.

Alignment of the theme to ‘Round Square IDEALS’: The theme of Self-Confidence aligns well with the Round Square IDEALS, especially in the areas of Personal Responsibility and International Understanding. The assembly encouraged students to take ownership of their actions and trust in their abilities, while fostering a spirit of unity and understanding among all cultures.

Dance Performance: The students delivered an impressive dance performance that symbolized strength and confidence. The vibrant choreography and synchronized movements reflected the assembly’s theme beautifully. 

10.Headmistress’ message: The principal/ headmistress addressed the assembly, speaking about the significance of self-confidence in students’ lives. They encouraged students to challenge themselves, step out of their comfort zones, and always have faith in their abilities, reminding them that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.
