On May 15, 2025, the students of Grade 3 WC organized a special assembly in celebration of International Family Day. The purpose of the assembly was to highlight the importance of families in our lives and to promote values such as love, respect, and togetherness.

The assembly was both meaningful and informative, reminding everyone of the warmth, support, and joy that families bring. The message of love and unity was conveyed beautifully, making the event truly memorable.

The session was anchored by Nikhitha and Farhan, and began with a prayer by Pranavi. This was followed by the presentation of the school’s vision, mission, and core values by Bren, Aleena, and Sulaiman. Mohammad Saad shared the Thought for the Day, emphasizing the significance of International Family Day, while Tanmay introduced the Word of the Day. Edlyn kept everyone informed with the news updates.

A heartfelt speech about International Family Day was delivered by Amrin Mariyam. To further enrich the celebration, Edlyn and her team performed an engaging dance that reflected the day’s theme.

Our respected Headmistress then addressed the gathering, highlighting the role of family as the first and most important support system in a person’s life. She spoke about how families nurture values, provide emotional support, and guide children through their growth. She encouraged students to always show respect to their parents and elders and to express love and gratitude for all that their families do.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving students with a strong message about the importance of discipline in both academic and personal life. The central objective of the assembly was to celebrate the spirit of unity and togetherness, both within families and in the school community.
