“Our world is filled with colours. A very important part of kindergarten is identification and recognition of colours. Colours aren’t about just what we see but they also affect how we feel. Learning about colors helps children to understand and express their emotions, for example if a child feels happy and uses bright colors in their artwork, they are expressing their joy

The curriculum is planned in such a way which helps the children to understand and identify the colours through fun activities. Children were introduced to primary colours and secondary colours. After the introduction, the Fun with Colours Activity was held on 24th April. All Resources including worksheets and colours were provided from the school.

The “Fun with colours’’ was a huge success. There was maximum participation among the students and great enthusiasm. The activity was helpful in achieving the various aspects like fostering hand eye coordination, recognition of colours, fine motor development, building concentration, confidence, encouraging creativity and self-expression. Every child was given a participation certificate in recognition of the efforts put in by each one of them.
