The Qatar National Day Activity at Podar Pearl School was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm. The special assembly aimed to strengthen national unity, respect, and love for the people of Qatar. Moreover, the event helped students understand the importance of Qatar’s history, culture, and values in a joyful and meaningful way.
Next, the comperes from Class 1MD and 1ML warmly welcomed the gathering and explained the significance of Qatar National Day. This introduction set a positive and patriotic tone for the celebration.
Following this, the school prayer and the recitation of Surah Al Fatiha filled the hall with calm and reflection. Afterwards, students and teachers respectfully sang the Qatar National Anthem and the Indian National Anthem, followed by the Indian Pledge, reinforcing unity and mutual respect.
In addition, the school’s vision and mission were shared, reminding everyone of the importance of nurturing responsible and caring individuals. A thoughtful message — “A curious mind is a learning mind” — further inspired the audience.
The highlight of the Qatar National Day Activity was the special segment. Students delivered a speech on Qatar National Day, presented a cheerful choir performance, and performed an energetic dance to “Hayya, Hayya.” Furthermore, the colorful parade by Grade 1 students created excitement and brought the celebration to life.
Later, the Headmistress addressed the gathering, encouraging students to take part in the nationwide celebrations across Qatar. Consequently, students felt motivated, proud, and deeply connected to the nation’s values of unity and compassion.
