Garangao is a tradition observed in Qatar and the Gulf region, celebrated on the 14th night of Ramadan. To honor this tradition, Pearl School celebrated Garangao with Holy Quran recitation. Special guest Ms Sajeda a delivered an insightful talk, shedding light on the cultural and historical significance of this cherished tradition, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving traditions and embracing the spirit of giving. The event was made even more special with a delightful parent-child activity, celebrating togetherness and cultural heritage. Parents teamed up with children and participated in activities like crafting lanterns, wall hangings and preparing zakat boxes. The atmosphere was filled laughter, creativity, and spirit of giving. It was a heart-warming scene, witnessing families come together to celebrate and create lasting memories. Students of Grade 3 presented a vibrant dance performance, captivating the audience with their energy and grace, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present for the event.

The event concluded with the distribution of Garangao bags, a token of gratitude and love to all the parents and children participated in the activity. As the celebration came to an end, the spirit of Garangao reminded us of the traditions and embracing the values of a generosity, unity, and togetherness.
