Pearl School Al Thumama, celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and spirit. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of protecting our environment and encouraging sustainable practises.

The Assembly Highlights are special prayer for the protection of nature, followed by a meaningful Thought for the Day emphasizing the importance of caring our planet. Student from Class 4 delivered an informative speech about importance of protecting our Earth. A beautiful thematic dance and choir was performed by students of Class 4. All students participated in taking an Earth Day pledge to reduce waste and protect natural resources.

The Incharge Ms. Indira Menon addressed the students with an inspiring speech emphasizing on the role of young minds in saving the planet. As part of the celebration, a plantation drive was organized where students enthusiastically planted saplings around the campus, symbolizing their commitment to a greener planet. Each student pledged to nurture the plants with care, understanding that small actions today can create a healthier tomorrow. A Show and Tell activity was conducted for grade 1 and 2 students on the topic ‘Save Our Earth’’. Students enthusiastically participated in the activity that highlighted the importance of protecting our Planet. In addition, students participated in Earth Day Drawing activity, where they created beautiful drawings, posters, and paintings. The vibrant artwork were displayed around the school.

The Earth Day celebration was a great success. It instilled in students a deep sense of responsibility towards nature and reminded everyone that together we can make difference for a greener and healthier planet.
