The students of Grade 4WD conducted the class assembly on September 18, 2024, at Pearl School, West Bay Campus. The assembly began with the prayer, followed by the thought of the day, the school vision and mission, and news headlines. The theme of the assembly was ‘World Ozone Day.’ It is a significant event aimed at raising awareness about the depletion of the ozone layer and encouraging actions to preserve it. The students delivered a speech highlighting the importance of safeguarding the ozone layer and the Earth for future generations. They also showcased their talent through singing. Celebrating World Ozone Day is important for raising awareness about the critical role of the ozone layer in protecting life on Earth and promoting actions to prevent its depletion.
To encourage our young learners, the headmistress, Ms. Zemina, addressed the gathering. The assembly concluded with the singing of the Qatar National Anthem, followed by the Indian National Anthem.
