Inter Class Just A Minute Competition- Class III&IV
“Take care of your minutes and the hours will take care of themselves.”
The Just a Minute competition assesses students’ creativity, mental fortitude, and command of the English
language in a single minute. Pearl School Al Dafna Campus organised an Inter-Class Just-A-Minute
Competition for Classes III and IV students on June 3, 2024, with this goal in mind. The event not only
highlighted the importance of articulate speech but also encouraged participants to think on their feet and
engage with their audience. It invites the student speaker to speak on a specific topic without hesitation,
repetition, or deviation. Overall, the competition is an interesting platform for students to practice public
speaking in a game-like setting.
