Podar Pearl School proudly celebrates the achievements of three young swimmers who represented the Qatar cluster at the CBSE National Swimming Competition 2026, held from 25 to 29 September at Technocrats International School, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The prestigious CBSE National Swimming Competition brought together more than 1,000 students from across the country. Competing at the national level gave our young athletes an opportunity to challenge themselves, gain valuable exposure and experience the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Representing Podar Pearl School in the U-14 and U-17 Boys categories, our swimmers delivered commendable performances across various events. Rakshan Narenthiren of Grade 11MA secured 15th position in the 100m Backstroke and 14th position in the 200m Freestyle. Meanwhile, Aagaman Shrivastava of Grade 7MD secured 17th position in the 200m Freestyle. Yagnaabhiram Chalamagunda of Grade 8ME secured 17th position in the 100m Backstroke and 16th position in the 50m Backstroke.
Throughout the competition, the students demonstrated determination, discipline and perseverance. Furthermore, competing alongside talented swimmers from across India allowed them to gain valuable experience and strengthen their confidence as young athletes.
The students were accompanied by Mr. Sarath Chandran, who supported and guided them throughout the competition. His encouragement helped the young swimmers stay focused and make the most of this important national-level opportunity.
We are proud of Rakshan, Aagaman and Yagnaabhiram for representing Podar Pearl School on a national platform. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to their peers and reminds us that dedication and determination can open the door to greater opportunities.
Congratulations to our young swimmers! We wish them continued success and many more achievements in the years ahead.
