Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus conducted a Personal Hygiene Workshop for Grade 2 students. Ms. Annamma John from the Ministry of Public Health led the informative session and encouraged students to learn through questions and interactive activities.

During the workshop, Ms. Annamma John divided the students into two groups, Group A and Group B. This approach encouraged active participation and made the session more engaging. Through interactive discussions, students explored the meaning and importance of personal hygiene and learned how healthy habits can help them stay clean and healthy.

The workshop also covered important aspects of personal hygiene and cleanliness. Students learned about oral hygiene and the proper care of their hands, ears, eyes, feet, and hair. In addition, they discussed the importance of regular bathing, wearing clean clothes, and maintaining good personal habits every day.

Furthermore, students learned the correct etiquette for sneezing and coughing. These simple practices can help prevent the spread of germs and promote a healthier environment at school and at home.

The session was informative, interactive, and engaging. Towards the end, students actively participated in a question-and-answer discussion. As a result, they had an opportunity to reinforce what they had learned and clarify their understanding of personal hygiene practices.

On the occasion of World Nurses Day, the school also expressed its appreciation for the dedication and contribution of healthcare professionals. As a token of appreciation, we honoured our school nurse, Ms. Devika S., and Ms. Annamma John from the Ministry of Public Health.

The Personal Hygiene Workshop for Grade 2 students was a valuable learning experience. It helped students understand that simple daily habits can make a significant difference to their health, well-being, and overall cleanliness.
