Pearl School, Al Dafna Campus, observed World Ozone Day with great enthusiasm and awareness through a special morning assembly organized by the students of Grade V WD on 16th September 2025 in Block A Hall from 7:40 am to 8:10 am. The assembly was conducted to highlight the importance of protecting the ozone layer and to spread awareness on safeguarding our environment.

The program commenced with the school prayer, led by Miss Airah and Miss Zaha, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. Master Leon and Miss Sneha then extended a warm welcome to the gathering and also took up the role of comperes, ensuring a smooth flow of the program. Thereafter, Master Ethan and Miss Anjuna presented the Vision, Mission, and School Values, reminding everyone of the guiding principles of Pearl School.

To inspire the audience, Master Samved shared the Thought for the Day, connecting it beautifully to the theme of environmental protection. This was followed by a thoughtful speech delivered by Master Aryan, emphasizing the significance of the ozone layer and the urgent need for its conservation.

The highlight of the assembly was a Special Skit performed by the students, which effectively conveyed the message of safeguarding the ozone layer and adopting eco-friendly practices, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. To further engage the gathering, Miss Ayesha and Miss Anjuna conducted an interactive quiz on Ozone Day, which was both informative and enjoyable.

Adding a creative touch, the students also presented a Special Ramp Walk with powerful slogans, spreading awareness in a lively and impactful manner. Their slogans and presentations inspired everyone to be more mindful about protecting the environment.

Ms. Zemina, Headmistress of the school, addressed the gathering with her motivational words, appreciating the efforts of the students and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of their class teacher, Ms. Kirthana, who played a key role in organizing and guiding the students for the program. She also encouraged everyone to contribute towards environmental conservation. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Master Nikhil, followed by the National Anthem, which instilled a sense of pride and unity among all present.

The Ozone Day assembly stood out as a meaningful and creative initiative, successfully spreading awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the collective responsibility of protecting our planet.
