Grades 3 to 5: Environment Day Eco Flashcards Activity (Meshaf 2025-26)

To celebrate Environment Day, students from Grades 3 to 5 at Al Meshaf Campus engaged in a creative Eco Flashcards activity. Over 45 minutes, students illustrated eco-related words on cards, wrote definitions or tips, and decorated them, promoting environmental awareness and responsibility. The activity fostered creativity, collaboration, and reinforced eco-friendly values aligned with the school’s mission and Qatar’s environmental goals. The activity aligned with the Round Square ideal of ‘Environmentalism’ by encouraging responsibility and sustainable thinking. Both students and teachers responded positively, noting high levels of engagement and enthusiasm. They embraced the 2025 World Environment Day theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” recognizing the urgent need to reduce plastic waste and protect our planet’s ecosystems. Through awareness and collective action, they highlighted the importance of innovative solutions to tackle plastic pollution and create a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations. The completed flashcards were displayed in classrooms to inspire continued learning.
