Pearl School Al Thumama celebrated Labour Day on May 1st 2025. It is a celebration of the tireless efforts of workers who form the backbone of our society. Our school marked this important day with a special assembly to show gratitude to all community helpers and especially honour the invaluable contributions of our school support staff.

The main objectives of the Labour Day Assembly were:

  • To appreciate the role of community helpers in our daily lives.
  • To instill in students a sense of respect and gratitude towards every profession.
  • To honour and recognize the efforts of our school’s support staff.

The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer and a thoughtful message on the dignity of labour. Grade 3 student delivered a meaningful speech emphasizing the value of hard work and the significance of every job. Students of Grade 3A and 3B came dressed as different community helpers including police officers, chefs, teachers, and more. This was followed by students dressed as leaders, symbolizing how future generations can lead and support those who serve the community. An energetic dance performance by the students celebrated the spirit of teamwork and dedication. The highlight of the event was the recognition of our school’s supporting staffs. They were warmly invited on stage and presented with tokens of appreciation for their constant care and devoted service. Students of Grade 1, 2, 3 & 4 participated in Labour Day card making activities, creatively expressing their appreciation through colorful artwork that celebrates the spirit of labour and unity. Our Incharge Ms. Indira Menon expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support staff and encouraged students to always value and respect every contributor in society.

The Labour Day Assembly was a heartfelt celebration that not only honored the contributions of workers but also instilled life lessons in kindness, leadership, and respect. The program successfully reinforced our school’s commitment to holistic and value-driven education, building future-ready citizens with empathy and purpose.
